These terms cover your use of myreceiptgenerator.com. They are written plainly because terms nobody reads protect nobody. By using this site or creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
myreceiptgenerator.com is operated by Iqra Tariq, based in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Throughout these terms, “we” and “us” mean the site operator, and “you” means anyone using the site.

2. What the service does
We provide online tools that generate receipt documents from information you enter. The tools run in your browser and produce a PDF or image file you download.
You do not need an account to use the generator. An account is optional and adds the ability to save receipts, reuse details, and keep receipt numbering sequential across sessions.
3. Acceptable use
This is the section that matters most, so we are stating it directly rather than burying it.
This service is for documenting real transactions. A receipt records something that actually happened: a sale, a rent payment, a service delivered, a donation received.
You must not use this service to:
- Create a receipt for a transaction that did not take place
- Support a false expense claim, insurance claim, or refund request
- Impersonate a business you do not own or represent
- Reproduce the branding, logos, or trade dress of a company without authorisation
- Mislead an employer, tax authority, court, landlord, or anyone else
- Commit fraud, forgery, or any other offence under the law that applies to you
Fabricating a receipt is a criminal offence in most countries. Expense-fraud detection at large organisations is considerably better than people assume, and a fabricated document is usually easier to identify than the person creating it expects.
You are solely responsible for what you produce with these tools and for how you use it. We provide a document generator. We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy or legitimacy of anything you create.
Brand templates
We do not offer replica templates of Walmart, Amazon, Apple, or any other company, and we will not add them on request. Our templates are original designs organised by transaction type, not by brand.
4. Accounts
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or older if your country sets a higher age for digital consent. Accounts are for individuals and businesses using the service for their own record-keeping.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate registration details
- Keep your password confidential and use one you have not reused elsewhere
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else
- Accept responsibility for activity carried out under your account
Data you save
If you save receipts containing your customers’ names, addresses, or payment details, that information belongs to those people and you are responsible for it. Save only what you genuinely need, and make sure you have a lawful basis for holding it under the rules in your country.
We store saved receipts so you can retrieve them. We do not read them, sell them, share them, or use them for advertising. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, particularly section 3. Where it is reasonable to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, but we may act immediately in cases of clear misuse or where the law requires it.
You can delete your account yourself at any time from your account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent, removes every saved receipt, and cannot be reversed by us.
5. Free and paid plans
Free plan
The receipt generator is free to use. You can create and download receipts without an account, without a watermark, and without entering card details. A free account includes saved receipts up to the limit shown on your account page.
Paid plans
We may offer paid plans with additional features. Where we do:
- Prices, features, and billing frequency will be shown clearly before you pay
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account page
- Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access running until the end of the period you have paid for
- We will give at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing the price of an existing subscription
- Payment is handled by a third-party processor and we never see or store your card details
Refunds
If the service does not work as described, email us within 14 days of payment and we will refund you. If you simply change your mind, contact us and we will consider it case by case. We would rather refund someone than have them feel stuck.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The site may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control such as hosting or network failures.
We may change, add, or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan offers, we will tell paying users in advance.
7. Not professional advice
The guides and information on this site are general and educational. They are not accounting, tax, or legal advice.
Receipt and invoicing requirements vary by country, and often by province or state, and they change. We research against primary sources including the FBR, HMRC, the IRS, and national GST portals, and we correct errors when we find them. Even so, you should verify anything that affects a tax filing or a legal obligation with your own accountant or the relevant authority.
Documents produced by this service are not certified, notarised, or legally validated by us.
8. Intellectual property
Ours
The site, its templates, tools, written guides, and design are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute them, or build a competing service from them.
Yours
The content you enter and the receipts you generate remain entirely yours. You may use them for any lawful purpose, commercial included. We claim no ownership over your data and no licence to it beyond what is needed to store and display saved receipts back to you.
9. Liability
This service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- Loss of profit, revenue, data, or business opportunity
- Consequences of an inaccurate receipt, including rejected claims or tax penalties
- Loss of saved receipts caused by account deletion, technical fault, or service interruption
- Anything a third party does with a document you created
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or nothing if you use the free service.
Keep your own copies. Download and back up any receipt that matters to you. Do not rely on saved receipts as your only record of anything important.
10. Indemnity
If a claim is brought against us because of how you used this service, particularly a breach of section 3, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs arising from it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes affecting your rights or a paid plan will be notified by email or by a notice on the site before they take effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Multan, Punjab have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer in a country with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing here removes rights you have under those laws.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later. These terms, together with the privacy policy, form the whole agreement between us.
